About Action Plumbing
and Heating

We recently celebrated our 35th year in business. Action was founded by Jim Kreifels in 1968 as a plumbing company. In 1974, he expanded Action Plumbing to provide heating and air conditioning services. Jim is a former local, state and national officer for the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors-National Association (PHCC). Today, Jim is enjoying semi- retirement, allowing his three sons to run the business.

Terry Kreifels is Action's President and in charge of the plumbing division. Terry is also a former PHCC local and state officer. Doug Kreifels is the Vice-President and oversees the HVAC division. Doug is a two-time president of the Lincoln Heating and Air Conditioning Association (LHACA) and begins his third term in January. Jeff Kreifels is Action's Secretary-Treasurer and responsible for all plumbing construction jobs. We currently have 35 customer-orientated employees who are the backbone of our company.

New construction accounts for 75% of our overall business and Action Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc. has been an active member of the Home Builders Association of Lincoln (HBAL) for more than 30 years. Both Jim and Terry are past HBAL board members. We are also members of Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC), Lincoln Independant Business Association (LIBA) and the Better Business Bureau (BBB)
